The Lobethal Community Association is composed of individuals who have an interest in the welfare of the township. 

We hold regular meetings to discuss issues, plan projects and provide volunteer opportunities. 

A new executive committee was formed at this year's AGM.  Only the executive are meeting over the next couple of months to undertake a Review to ensure the future sustainability of the LCA. 

Our current objectives:

•·        To undertake projects which are of benefit to our town

•·        To provide support to enable new community initiatives

•·        To advocate on issues that concern our town.

Ongoing Projects:

•·        http://www.lobethal.sa.au/ - a community website designed to both promote our town and its attractions.

•·        The popular Lobethal Produce Share, a subcommittee of the LCA.

•·        A regular member newsletter

Achievements:

•·        Coordinated Lobethal's community participation in the 2012 and 2013 Santos Tour Down Under:

•·        Commissioned a sculpture at the inaugural 2012 Adelaide Hills International Sculpture Symposium:

•·        Created 3 mosaic panels representing the blankets which were once made in Lobethal;

•·        Advocated for AHC to install a bridge between Mill Road and Main Street;.

•·        Yarn bombed Mill Square as part of the 2013 SALA.
