Western Branch

The 1980's and 90's was an era of iconic Australian bands and a thriving live music scene. Independent music labels prospered.

Lobethal musicians, Sam Pearse and Grant Small have formed 'Western Branch', named after the local creek which passes through their neighbouring properties.

The duo plays acoustic interpretations of the music of the bands they loved in the 80's & 90's including the Triffids; Go betweens; the Stems; the Church; and the Saints.
